Food Runners picks up prepared food and excess perishables from businesses such as restaurants, caterers, bakeries, hospitals, event planners, corporate cafeterias, and hotels and delivers it directly to neighborhood food programs. Food runners volunteers relay food for over 20,000 meals in San Francisco each week.
